KLM 474

The ISO 301 standard defines four mechanical tests with the ISO 302 code and specifies the values to be achieved as a result of these tests. The first of these tests, the tensile shear test, involves conditioning the samples under various conditions, including soaking them in boiling water for a certain period.

KLM 474 has successfully completed all mechanical tests with superior performance. KLM 474 also offers many advantages related to its use. Some of the key advantages it provides include having a 1:1 mixing ratio by weight and volume, the ability to be applied to damp wood thanks to its high moisture tolerance, relatively quick curing despite long open and assembly times, and the ability to fill gaps between wooden parts. If KLM 474's viscosity is lower than desired for certain applications, a higher viscosity product like KLM 476, which is also LLOYD’s REGISTER certified, can be used. KLM 476 can be a preferred choice for wooden laminations, especially in hot climates.
